Pre-Visit Prep: Avoid retinoid products and glycolic acid products for 1 week prior to treatment.; Do not wear make-up to appointment.
Post-Visit Care: Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours; Do not take any anti-inflammatory medications immediately afterward. First week: avoid smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, excessive exercise, sweating, swimming, or exposing skin to heat and sun.

What to Expect
Your medical grade chemical peel starts with a cleansing of the face. Once preparation is complete, your provider will apply the Derma Peel evenly and thoroughly across your facial areas. The peel contains a mild anesthetic that will help dissipate initial heat sensation, and a fan is provided to keep you comfortable during the treatment.
If receiving the peel in the AM: You should leave the peel on all day. Wash your face with a mild cleanser (such as Elta Facial Cleanser or Vanicream gentle cleanser) that night. If receiving the peel in the PM: You should leave the peel on overnight. Wash it off the following morning, using only your hands (no washcloth, loofah, brush). If you experience extreme discomfort, you may wash the peel off prematurely; however, you may lose some or all of the effectiveness of the peel. You will receive a post-peel kit containing post-peel pads and a gentle moisturizer to use during the peeling process.
