Pre-Visit Prep: Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours prior; Avoid blood thinners (Aspirin, Motrin, Advil, vitamin E or fish oil) 1 week prior; Do not wear make-up to appointment.
Post-Visit Care: Massage the treated areas for 5 minutes 5x daily. Continue for 5 days after treatment. Consider taking Arnica to help with the bruising and swelling.

What to Expect
During your initial consultation with Carmen, you’ll have the opportunity to express your aesthetic goals and concerns. She will assess your facial structure and discuss which dermal filler options are best suited to achieve your desired results. Once you’ve decided on a treatment plan, your provider will prepare you for the procedure. This may involve cleansing the treatment area and applying a topical numbing cream to minimize discomfort.
Collagen-stimulating fillers are administered through a series of carefully placed injections. A fine needle or cannula is used to introduce the filler into specific areas of the face to target wrinkles, lines, or areas that require volume restoration. The number of injections and the amount of filler used depend on your treatment plan.
During the injection process, you may feel a slight pinching or stinging sensation, but most patients find it tolerable. Many dermal fillers contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, which helps to alleviate discomfort.
